Physically walked into reception and booked with a guy in 2022 we asked if he could tell us what vacancies on the beach front they had .. he said we will be waiting a year as beach front are always booked and hard to get .. he told us Nov …
Very nice location right by the beach. The rest was very disappointing. There is no reception nor any Wifi. Amenities weren‘t that clean. Only cold washing machine available and the dryers where broken. The individual camping sites are only dirt.
Its good for people who love nature and don‘t care about the rest.
The lady I spoke to when booking was very nice and understanding when I called back of an issue I was having after my wallet was stolen while visiting another town. But the man who answered the phone when I tried to sort out my booking was extremely rude and swore at me. I am extremely disappointed and shocked someone in customer service/ accommodation industry would do such a thing. I love the camp grounds and have visited many times with my children as it is a great family destination.
Booked this site 4 months in advance and we’re told to reconfirm a week out. When we rang the bloke I spoke to had no record of our booking. Luckily there was a free site and we manage to get it. Could have been much worse. However the campsites themselves were nice but slightly smaller than usual. Alittle outdated but Nice clean amenities. Location is absolutely amazing and there a couple of bars and coffee shops within a walking distance. Fishing is great.
Stayed in a swag under ute awning
It's a great location
I think the toilet amenities could do with upgrading
Most caravan parks we go to in this price range have much nicer facilities the camp kitchen is not that great compared to most camp kitchens
Nearly all have a TV in their kitchen
Although it has a great laundry facilities
The location is amazing
Great location for the kids
Some of the sites are a little tight others are quite big
I do recommend going and having a look for yourself
Although it could do with a few updates
I will be going back it's a beautiful location
We have always wanted to camp on the beach front but could never secure a booking. So we asked them when they're next availability was for the beach. They told us 11 months away. So we took it, he wrote our names down. Now a week out from our booking, we call to confirm and they've given it away to someone else. After 11 months of waiting, booking time off work etc. Very disappointed. We were told "sorry your name isnt here" and that was it. Website advertises beachfront bookings available for 2024 and can book 12 months in advance yet They couldn't seem to do it for us this year. So very disappointing.
Fantastic location but very ordinary park. All sites are dirt. They could put synthetic grass mats like alot of other caravan parks, especially since they are charging the same price. Amenities old and not very clean.... am fairly certain they were not cleaned in the 2 nights we were there.
Really 2 and a 1/2 star accommodation but a 5 star location. Don't come with huge expectations about the camping grounds. They are very busy and cram you in but the location and view make it worth it. Ultimately it is your decision 😁 …
